Viktor Orban, whose center-right Fidesz party won a two-thirds parliamentary majority in Sunday”s election, also criticized the PSZAF financial regulator and central bank saying there was doubt whether the institutions did their job properly. The bank reduced its key rate by 25 basis points to a historic low of 5.25 percent on Monday and analysts said they were shuffled deeper relief if the new Government seeks a tougher fiscal policy and launch reforms.
Orban said his government will seek to partner with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the European Union, with whom he has a financial agreement that expires in October, and ensure their support for Fidesz plans to boost the economy.

LONDON (Reuters) – The investigation of a link between salmonella and HIV shows that the AIDS virus damages the immune system in ways that doctors did not know before, providing new avenues for vaccine development. Typically, salmonella causes fatal infections in the bloodstream of people with HIV, particularly in Africa. But although this has been known for over 25 years, only now researchers have a scientific explanation. <1000/P> This is not the deficiency of the immune system that causes the problem, but access to antibodies. The discovery should help prevent the development of new vaccines run into dead ends. “It is quite surprising and suggests that here we are dealing more with a consequence of immune dysregulation rather an immune deficiency itself, “said lead researcher Cal MacLennan, University of Birmingham. human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) is usually seen as a virus that stops the immune system work by killing cells called CD4, which orchestrate the body”s response to foreign invaders. In the case of salmonella, MacLennan and colleagues found that the blood of infected adults HIV-contained high levels of antibodies to salmonella. The difficulty appeared when antibodies adhered to the wrong part of the bacterium and, therefore, failed to kill her. (more…)

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The U.S. Supreme Court rejected a law banning videos showing cruelty to animals, arguing that the rule violates the rights of freedom of expression.
The 8-1 decision the high court was a victory for proponents of free speech and a defeat for the federal government and groups like the Humane Society of the United States.
The Congress passed the law in 1999 in an attempt to prevent some people from benefiting from the interstate sale of representations of the torture and killing of animals. Was mainly aimed at the videos for “crushing” in which women with high-heeled shoes trample small animals in a form of sexual fetishism.
Opponents of the law had argued that it was too broad and too vague, and that became some videos of illegal blood sports like bullfighting or hunti1000ng, and even some documentaries. They said that the standard should be rejected as a form of government censorship. Chief Justice John Roberts, on behalf of the majority of the court, said the law was too broad and therefore invalid under the protections freedom of expression to be found in the First Amendment of the Constitution of the United States. While the prohibition of cruelty to animals has a long tradition in American law, there is no evidence a similar tradition prohibiting depictions of the cruelty, “said Roberts. Roberts refused to carve a new category of free speech is not protected by the First Amendment. The court created last exception, relating to child pornography, more than 25 years. David Horowitz, executive director of a group called the Media Coalition, applauded the ruling. “If the court had to rewrite the First Amendment every time an issue unpopular or distasteful was at stake, we would have no any freedom of expression,” he said. CALL NEW ANIMAL PROTECTION LAW Wayne Pacelle, president of the Humane Society of the United States, called on Congress to pass a law more restrictive. (more…)

It would be so interesting to know the secret of happiness. There are people who can get everything they want – Prada replica handbag, shoes from Prada or any other famous brand. They can visit different countries and buy the most luxurious things in the world. Are they happy? Hardly they are. Inner problems, difficult relations with a couple, problems with health… The secret of happiness is still unknown. That’s why it is always interesting to listen to those who managed to become happy in this life.
Miuccia Prada is a happy woman. She smiles openly to journalists, touches the hand of her beloved husband and can tell about her two sons for ages. She is beautiful in her more than sixty and of course she has plenty of clothes and bags from Prada.
When Miuccia is asked about happiness, she thinks a little and then tells, she is just … living. Creates beautiful clothes, makes accessories and visits different countries where Prada fashion house has shops and offices. Miuccia has enough time for her company and for her charity fund. She helps young painters to start their careers, to arrange the first exhibitions, to sell the first pictures. She does it because loves art and good atmosphere around her created by talented artists.
She doesn’t know the secret of happiness, she just does the things she likes – creates clothes, brings up children and … eats tasty food. Miuccia Prada is a gourmet.
At the very beginning Miuccia had no idea if she could succeed or not. She had no designer’s education, was young and inexperienced and the fashion world was unkind to a small tender woman with big eyes. She sat at her writing table and started to work. And happiness somehow came itself.
The secret of happiness is in simple things around us – a cup of strong coffee, the last issue of “Vogue” and Prada replica handbag…

LA VALLETTA (Reuters) – Pope Benedict XVI prayed and wept with eight victims of sexual abuse in Malta on Sunday and promised that the church would do “everything in its power” to bring the perpetrators to justice and protect youth. “It was exciting. All cried,” said Lawrence Grech, a victim 37 years after the private meeting that took place after the pope”s Mass on the second and final day of his visit. The meeting, announced only after completion, was the first gesture of Benedict XVI since a new wave of sexual abuse scandals affected the Roman Catholicism in recent months . Previously he had met with victims of U.S. and Australia. “He prayed with them and assured them that the Church is doing and will continue doing everything in their power to investigate charges, to bring to justice those responsible for abuses and implement effective measures to protect young people in the future, “said a Vatican statement on the meeting. The statement was one of the clearest signs that the Vatican hopes that local bishops cooperate with civil authorities to prosecute priests who abuse minors. (more…)
